Requires at least one year of playing experience and introduces students to the basics of ensemble playing and working with a conductor. No audition is required for this ensemble comprised of violin, viola and cello.

Holly Airheart, Prelude Conductor

Holly Airheart has been working in the Judson Independent School District for 3 years as an orchestra director. In January, 2005 she played in Carnegie Hall for the second time, with the National Festival Orchestra, under the direction of Mr. Lucas Foss. In 2002, Ms. Airheart graduated from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln with a degree in Violin Performance and is currently working on her Masters Degree in Education from the University of the Incarnate Word. A YOSA alumna, Holly is starting her second year on the faculty as conductor of the new Prelude Orchestra.
